Description
Duties:     Maintains a technical knowledge of United Solutions Company’s products and services. Participates in scheduled off-hour maintenance events.  Answers user inquiries electronically, in person, and/or via telephone concerning systems operation.  Diagnoses and resolves Tier 1 system hardware, software, and operator problems.  Maintains inventory of all computer and network hardware, software, repair parts, and computer and network supplies.  Uses established ticketing / tracking system to log requests; resolves and closes Tier 1 support calls in system.
Performs other duties as assigned and supports all areas of the company and its affiliates.
 
Qualifications: Associate’s degree (B.A.) with at least one year of coursework in computer sciences or completion of a specialized course of study at a technical or trade school.  Two (2) years of similar or related professional experience with Cisco Switches, Routers and Firewalls (CCNA/CCNF, MS Server, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Ability to work some evening, weekend, and holiday hours.  Ability to travel and provide own transportation.  Must be bondable.  Must work well with all staff and management and perform as a member of the team.
