JOB SUMMARY:
 
The primary function of each employee is to help United Solutions achieve its Mission:

Primary responsibilities include selling the company’s diverse range of products and services to new and existing customers.  Marketing the company name and increasing customer awareness.   
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate sales opportunities by making outbound phone calls.
  • Sell products and services to customers.
  • Maintains a professional and courteous attitude with staff and business contacts.
  • Understand customer organization and decision making process.
  • Research the market and related products.
  • Present products or services in a structured professional way over the phone.
  • Listen to customer requirements and discuss options with sales team.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, via telephone calls, and emails.
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.
  • Overcome objections to potential sales.
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and be aware of special promotions from vendors.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business needs and requirements.
  • Make accurate recommendations for products and services to meet the customer’s need.
  • Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding all pertinent problems, irregularities, new development, changes and other important information within area of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and supports all areas of the company and its affiliates.
 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong understanding of the principles of sales.
  • Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing.
  • Experience with email marketing tools such as Constant Contact.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work across departmental boundaries to complete tasks.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
